en.Wedoany.com Reported - The first Embodied Robot Application Scenario Competition concluded on July 3 at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center. Organized by the China Mechatronics Technology Application Association and co-organized by the Suzhou Robot Industry Association and Shanghai International Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., the competition marked the first time that national service robot performance testing standards were fully integrated into the competition evaluation system.

During the official competition on July 3, multiple teams participated, including Beijing Yunji Technology Co., Ltd., Suzhou Xuqing Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Suzhou Industrial Park Galesway Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Suzhou Hanruishan Technology Co., Ltd., Suzhou Teyu Robot Technology Co., Ltd., and the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) Suzhou Advanced Research Institute. The competition featured six testing modules: general road passage, standard slope, standard stair climbing, uneven terrain, obstacle crossing and avoidance, and fall prevention safety tests, comprehensively evaluating the robots' walking stability, terrain adaptability, response sensitivity, and safety performance. The event adopted a group rotation system, with on-site scoring by evaluation experts from authoritative testing and certification institutions.
On the afternoon of July 3, the award ceremony was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. Wang Jihong, Executive Vice President of the China Mechatronics Technology Application Association, stated in his speech that integrating national service robot performance testing standards into the competition system was a first for embodied intelligence events, establishing a quantifiable and comparable performance evaluation paradigm for the industry. Xu Jia, President of Shanghai International Exhibition (Group) Co., Ltd., noted that the deep integration of exhibitions and competitions will accelerate the transition of robots from laboratories to commercial applications.

The competition's evaluation expert team included Sun Weiwei, Think Tank Expert and Senior Technical Manager at SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd.; Lei Lin, Think Tank Expert at SGS-CSTC and IEC Registered Expert; Zhou Lei, Department Manager at TÜV Rheinland (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.; Wang Yong, Expert in robot testing, special robots, and machine vision; Fang Yingchun, Senior Product Manager at CQC Intime Testing Technology Co., Ltd.; and Wu Xueqian, Technical Supervisor at Suzhou Inspection Group/Jiangsu Robot and Intelligent Processing Equipment Quality Inspection and Testing Center. After rigorous evaluation and comprehensive scoring of the six testing modules by the judging panel, Sun Weiwei announced the winners.
