en.Wedoany.com Reported - Pacifica Silver Corp. has completed an induced polarization (IP) and resistivity geophysical survey at its Claudia silver-gold project in Durango, Mexico, identifying a large near-surface chargeability anomaly. Based on this discovery, the company has adjusted its drilling plan, prioritizing one drill rig for the verification of this target.

The survey, covering 31.65 line kilometers, was designed to investigate the extensive vein systems across the property. Exploration identified an anomaly named "Judy" in the southern part of the project, trending northeast-southwest, with a defined strike length of 600 meters and indications of an additional 680-meter extension to the northwest. The strongest segment exhibits chargeability values ranging from 24 to 30 milliradians, with modeling indicating a depth of only 75 to 150 meters below surface, coinciding with a high-resistivity zone. The company's technical interpretation suggests that the anomaly's geometry and geophysical response are consistent with sulfide mineralization (disseminated or vein-type) hosted in volcanic rocks.
Due to the scale and intensity of this anomaly, company management decided to adjust operational strategy, relocating one of the two active drill rigs from the Phase 2 drilling program to prioritize initial testing of the Judy target with five drill holes.
Pacifica Silver CEO Todd Anthony stated that the discovery of this new target has strengthened the company's confidence in the regional-scale potential of the Claudia project, with drilling results expected in the coming weeks.
