Cumulative production for the first half of the year reached 197,171 ounces, with cumulative sales of 200,868 AuEq ounces.

President and CEO Andrew Snowden stated that the quarter's results were in line with the company's operational plan, as the Media Luna unit processed ore with lower grades and lower gold recovery rates. The company reaffirmed its confidence in achieving the annual production guidance, which is expected to be between 420,000 and 470,000 AuEq ounces, supported by anticipated improvements in ore grades during the third and fourth quarters of this year.

At the operational level, the Morelos complex maintained a steady production pace. The ELG Underground mine averaged 2,999 tonnes per day, Media Luna averaged 7,714 tonnes per day, and the processing plant averaged 10,793 tonnes per day, exceeding design capacity. The Media Luna North project is progressing as planned, with first ore delivery expected before the end of the year.

On the financial front, Torex Gold continues to execute its capital return strategy. In the second quarter, the company repurchased 990,982 shares at an average price of CAD 61.89 per share and paid a quarterly dividend of CAD 0.16 per share.
