en.Wedoany.com Reported - Brazilian fuel distributor Vibra has been selected as the fuel supply partner for Arauco's pulp mill under construction in Inocência, Mato Grosso do Sul, investing 45 million reais to build a gas station under a five-year contract. The pulp mill has an annual production capacity of 3.5 million tons. Vibra will fuel vehicles for the "Sucuriú Project" using its exclusive Vibra Agritop premium diesel technology to enhance operational efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Currently serving over 32,700 companies in the B2B sector with logistics solutions, Vibra's partnership further solidifies its position in fuel supply for industrial projects in Brazil. Leveraging its plantation productivity, industrial scale, and logistics competitiveness, Brazil has cemented its status as the world's largest pulp producer and exporter—with production and exports reaching 29.4 million tons and 27.4 million tons, respectively, in 2025.

To meet high fuel supply demands, Vibra will build a gas station within Arauco's plant premises. Pedro Pyles, Manager of Logistics Maintenance, Gas Stations, and Wood Yard at Arauco Celulose, stated that the station is dedicated to serving all operations from forestry to harvesting and logistics, supplying diesel, lubricants, ethanol, and gasoline, with a focus on ensuring more energy-efficient operations and reducing maintenance costs to avoid unscheduled fleet downtime.

The gas station project encompasses full infrastructure construction, including civil works, canopies, pumps, pipelines, fire protection systems, and ancillary buildings. Total storage capacity is 1,270 cubic meters, comprising 1,110 cubic meters of diesel, 40 cubic meters of diesel exhaust fluid, 90 cubic meters of lubricants, and 30 cubic meters of gasoline and ethanol. The truck refueling area features two road unloading bays and eight refueling bays for Arauco's fleet, equipped with dispensers, automation systems, a spare parts area, a product analysis room, restrooms, and administrative offices. The tanker truck area includes diesel loading arms, a bottom-loading system, lubricant refueling pumps, and necessary protective facilities for operations.

Juliano Prado, Executive Vice President of B2B Operations at Vibra, stated that the collaboration with Arauco on the Sucuriú Project reaffirms Vibra's position as the largest distributor for industrial projects in Brazil. The operation uses Vibra Agritop premium diesel, whose formulation ensures fuel injection system cleanliness and fuel stability, expected to improve energy efficiency and reduce fuel consumption by 5%, a saving that helps lower greenhouse gas emissions.
