en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, at the G339 line maintenance and upgrade construction site in Lin County, Luliang City, Shanxi Province, two LiuGong M200E milling machines were simultaneously positioned for continuous operation. Addressing the project's multi-layer milling requirements, they performed fine milling of a 4 cm asphalt surface layer, removal of a 7 cm asphalt layer, and excavation of a 20 cm cement-stabilized base layer, providing equipment support for the quality improvement and upgrade of the regional arterial road.

The LiuGong M200E was designed during its R&D phase to address core issues in complex road surface milling, tailored for high-grade highway maintenance conditions. In the G339 project, the equipment faced the challenge of frequently switching between three depths—4 cm, 7 cm, and 20 cm—within the same work section, imposing high demands on power output, milling precision, and operational convenience. On-site operations showed that the multi-gear power system equipped on the LiuGong M200E can automatically adjust output power based on milling depth, maintaining stable power during heavy-load milling of the 20 cm cement-stabilized base layer without power loss or stalling issues. The milled material exhibited high particle uniformity, meeting the raw material standards for subsequent recycling and fulfilling green construction requirements.

Operators provided positive feedback on the equipment's intelligent functions. The one-key milling function eliminates the need for manual tool setting, and combined with automatic centering and real-time depth-linked control, operators can frequently switch between different working modes at depths of 4 cm, 7 cm, and 20 cm, significantly reducing labor intensity. The low-noise design with dual-fan intelligent temperature control ensures operator comfort during prolonged continuous operations; the four-track synchronized drive and multiple steering modes allow the equipment to maneuver flexibly in confined road sections without repeated repositioning, reducing operational blind spots.

Before the equipment entered the site, the local LiuGong service team completed comprehensive debugging and training, providing specialized operational guidance for operators on multi-layer milling conditions. A dedicated service engineer was stationed on-site throughout the construction to provide real-time support and ensure spare parts availability, enabling on-site resolution of minor issues and zero-wait response.

From large-scale highway maintenance to quality improvement of national and provincial arterial roads, the LiuGong M200E has been practically applied in scenarios such as fine milling of asphalt layers and heavy-load operations on cement-stabilized base layers, providing equipment support for various road maintenance projects.
