en.Wedoany.com Reported - Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) plans to execute the Starlink 17-48 mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Friday evening, adding 24 broadband internet satellites to its low Earth orbit constellation.

The booster, tail number B1071, is SpaceX's second most-flown Falcon 9 first-stage booster. This marks its 35th flight, having previously launched NASA's SWOT mission, five missions for the National Reconnaissance Office, and five SmallSat Rideshare Program missions.

The launch window is set for 8:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) (11:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 0300 Coordinated Universal Time) from Space Launch Complex 4 East. The rocket will fly in a south-southwest direction after liftoff. SpaceX currently has over 10,700 spacecraft in its constellation.

Approximately eight minutes after liftoff, B1071 will land on the autonomous drone ship "Of Course I Still Love You" in the Pacific Ocean. If successful, this will be the 209th landing on that drone ship and SpaceX's 636th booster landing.
