en.Wedoany.com Reported - Green Flexibility has reached a deal with Kajoni on multiple utility-scale battery storage projects. As part of the agreement, Green Flexibility ensures these projects undergo a maturity assessment process for grid connection. Following potential approval by the transmission system operator, Kajoni will continue developing the projects until they reach construction-ready status, after which Green Flexibility will be responsible for project implementation, operation, and marketing.
These projects aim to facilitate the integration of renewable energy into the grid and make more efficient use of existing grid capacity, while enhancing the flexibility of Germany's power system.
The team advising Green Flexibility was led by Dr Wolfram Böge, Partner at the Hamburg office and Head of Watson Farley & Williams (WFW)'s German Energy Practice. Team members included Hamburg Partner Christian R. Schindler, Hamburg Real Estate Partner Dr Sebastian Baum, Associate Richard Wichmann, and Transaction Lawyer Stephanie Groß. Hamburg Partner Dr F. Maximilian Boemke, assisted by Senior Associate Dr Philipp Kleiner, Associates Dr Ruwen Fritsche and Leonard Wolckenhaar, provided regulatory affairs advice. Frankfurt Legal Counsel Manuel Rustler and Associate Dr Alexander Brune handled tax matters.
