The project aims to connect existing infrastructure, enhance the reliability of the distribution system, and serve new customers, including two gas stations that will soon begin selling compressed natural gas for vehicles.

In terms of sales volume in the thermal power generation market, the company is the largest natural gas distributor in Brazil and also the leader in the CNG market. The company continues to invest in modernizing its natural gas distribution infrastructure. Currently, Rio de Janeiro is the most gasified state in Brazil, accounting for 14.9% of the country's natural gas consumption. Naturgy also operates in 18 cities in São Paulo State.
