en.Wedoany.com Reported - POSCO E&C, the construction arm of South Korea's POSCO Group, announced on July 15, 2026, that it has developed a dedicated smart home platform for residents of its premium residential brand "HAUTERRE." The platform aims to integrate community living, resident communication, and high-end partnership services into a unified living experience, with plans to introduce artificial intelligence agent services in the future.
POSCO E&C, established in 1994, is a wholly owned subsidiary of POSCO Holdings and holds a significant market position in construction and real estate development. "HAUTERRE," launched in 2025, is the company's premium residential brand, with its name derived from French meaning "high ground" or "top floor," targeting an elite living experience for high-net-worth individuals.

According to the company, the platform is divided into three modules: "My Home," "Life," and "Social," offering services ranging from indoor device control and community facility reservations to utility fee inquiries, as well as asset management, home decoration consulting, and health checkup appointments in collaboration with multiple partners. The platform will first be applied to the "HAUTERRE Banpo" and "HAUTERRE New Banpo" projects, which began occupancy last month, and is planned to gradually expand to major premium residential communities such as "Seongsu HAUTERRE."
The launch of this smart home platform represents a significant step in POSCO E&C's digital service upgrade in the premium residential sector, aiming to enhance living experience and brand value through the integration of IoT and AI technologies. As the platform gradually rolls out, the level of smart services in South Korea's premium residential market is expected to further improve. Additionally, the company plans to introduce AI agent services to the platform in the future for more intelligent living management.
