en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs of Indonesia (Kemkomdigi) has confirmed the selection results for users of the 700 MHz and 2.6 GHz radio frequency bands. This confirmation was made after the objection submission deadline passed without any opposition being received.

This spectrum allocation is part of the government's support for mobile network operations in Indonesia. With the results confirmed, telecom operators can finalize their frequency allocations to develop services. According to reports, the selection team stated that no objections were received from participants before the specified deadline, which was July 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM WIB. Due to the absence of objections, the previously announced selection rankings remain valid, providing legal certainty for the winners to immediately utilize their allocated frequency bands.
In the 700 MHz band selection, PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk secured first place, obtaining a 30 MHz (2×15 MHz) frequency block with a total bid of IDR 1.06 trillion. Second place was awarded to PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel), which obtained a 20 MHz (2×10 MHz) frequency block with a total bid of IDR 642.5 billion. PT Indosat Tbk ranked third, securing a 20 MHz (2×10 MHz) frequency block with a total bid of IDR 507.48 billion.
In the 2.6 GHz band selection, Telkomsel ranked first, obtaining an 80 MHz frequency block with a total bid of IDR 545.84 billion. PT Indosat Tbk ranked second, securing a 60 MHz frequency block with a bid of IDR 372 billion. PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk took third place, obtaining a 50 MHz frequency block with a total bid of IDR 231.6 billion.
The 700 MHz band is known for its wide coverage and good building penetration, while the 2.6 GHz band offers high data capacity. The Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs will formally designate these winners in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. This decision is final and binding, with no further legal avenues for objection.
This frequency allocation is a continuation of the auction series initiated earlier, aimed at supporting the development of Indonesia's telecommunications network. With the new frequency allocations, operators are expected to improve mobile service quality, and the public will benefit from enhanced network speeds and broader signal coverage. Operators that won the selection now have a legal basis to invest in network infrastructure. In addition to the aforementioned bands, Kemkomdigi has also opened the 1.4 GHz band selection, aiming to provide affordable internet with speeds of up to 100 Mbps to the public.
