en.Wedoany.com Reported - Germany Infineon Technologies has launched the ultra-wideband (UWB) product series "AIROC UWB TSL100," which supports precise positioning and intelligent presence detection.

This product series adopts an architecture that reduces power consumption and enhances security. It is a scalable UWB platform compliant with the IEEE 802.15.4ab standard and meets major industry alliance standards such as the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC), Aliro, and FiRa. The device integrates ranging and sensing functions, enabling applications in secure vehicle access, in-vehicle presence detection, access control, contactless payments, ticketing, indoor navigation, asset tracking, and collision avoidance.
The AIROC UWB TSL100 series includes two versions. The automotive-grade "TSL111A," targeting automakers and Tier 1 suppliers, has obtained AEC-Q100 certification and supports CCC digital keys, smart keys, presence detection based on the New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), kick sensing, and intrusion detection. The consumer and industrial version "TSL111C" is suitable for applications such as smart access control, asset tracking, contactless payments, device positioning, and indoor navigation.
Infineon will also provide engineering sample kits to support system-level evaluations of ranging accuracy, sensing range, and power consumption.
