Unit 3 of Huaneng Dalian No. 2 Thermal Power Plant Passes Completion Acceptance

en.Wedoany.com Reported - The "Replacing Small Units with Large Ones" new construction project of Huaneng Dalian No. 2 Thermal Power Plant has officially passed the completion acceptance by the expert group of Huaneng Group. Unit 3, constructed by China Energy Engineering Group Northeast No. 2 Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (China Energy Engineering Group Dongdian No. 2 Company), as the core component of the project, received positive feedback from the expert group in terms of construction quality and technical indicators.

Since the project commenced, China Energy Engineering Group Dongdian No. 2 Company has advanced construction in accordance with the deployment of Huaneng Group and its Northeast Branch. The construction process achieved a full-cycle safety record of "zero accidents," and all quality supervision issues were closed out in a loop.

On June 1, 2022, Unit 3 successfully passed the 168-hour full-load trial operation and was handed over for production. During the trial operation, the input rates of thermal and electrical automatic devices, protections, and instruments all reached 100%. In December 2025, Unit 3 and Unit 4 passed the third-stage re-inspection for compliance production.

This completion acceptance covered four assessment items: design and comprehensive management, safety and construction process quality, commissioning and technical indicators, and completion settlement and archive management. After on-site inspection and review, the expert group unanimously agreed to pass the project acceptance. The project also passed six special acceptances: environmental protection facilities, water and soil conservation facilities, safety facilities, fire protection facilities, occupational disease prevention facilities, and project archives.

Since the project was put into operation, Unit 3 has been operating stably. The successful completion of this project demonstrates the professional capabilities of China Energy Engineering Group Dongdian No. 2 Company in the field of traditional energy construction.
