en.Wedoany.com Reported - First Canadian Graphite has completed the initial exploration phase of Zone 13 at the Lac Guéret South project in the North Shore region of Quebec, Canada.

Work included expanding mineral claims at the site. Exploration personnel discovered graphite mineralization along a 3.3-kilometer strike of a previously unexplored electromagnetic conductor. Through detailed mapping, exploration, and grab sampling, the team delineated multiple graphite occurrences along the strike.

The company collected a total of 46 grab samples from Zone 13, which have been sent to ALS Global for rapid assay analysis, with results expected within the coming weeks.

Recently, First Canadian Graphite also entered into an option agreement with two local prospectors to acquire full interests in 51 contiguous mining claims in northern Quebec. The agreement is subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange, and securities issued as part of the arrangement will be subject to a hold period of four months plus one day.

Prior to finalizing the agreement, the company conducted a due diligence site visit to the Esbec occurrence. During the visit, the team confirmed graphite outcrop discoveries, reviewed sample markers from previous exploration work, and collected an additional sample from a high-grade graphite zone.

If the option is fully exercised, First Canadian Graphite's land holdings will expand to over 2,707 hectares, covering 51 continuous mining claims in the region.

The ongoing sampling program, along with continuous mapping and analytical data, will guide future exploration efforts, including further drilling and sampling activities planned for late 2026.

First Canadian Graphite CEO John LaGourgue stated that he is encouraged by the Phase 1 results from Zone 13. He noted that laboratory assay results are pending, and the company plans to return to the site in the first week of August for Phase 2 of summer exploration, which will systematically follow up on Phase 1 and build strong momentum for the planned late autumn drilling campaign.
