The facility covers 11,374 square feet, with a six-figure investment, nearly double the size of its previous headquarters, and is expected to create over a dozen jobs.

Gareth Bowen, Managing Director of SIE Industrial, stated that the new facility is crucial for maintaining the highest quality standards for industrial dust extraction, vacuum recovery, and blasting equipment. Founded in 1982 by Mr. Bowen's father, Paul, the family-owned company's equipment has been used on naval vessels, railway stations, airports, and infrastructure projects such as the Forth Rail Bridge and Hinkley Point C. With global spending in defense, maritime, and nuclear sectors expected to reach record highs next year, Mr. Bowen hopes the new factory, a new base in the UAE, and the addition of experienced director Gary Taylor will ensure the company meets the growing demand for its products.
Mr. Bowen noted that opening an overseas office has been a long-term goal, and the new UAE base marks the first step.
