en.Wedoany.com Reported - Austrian material processing manufacturer IMA Schelling Precision has introduced the new specialized panel saw fk 9, positioned between the existing fk 8 and fk 10 models. Equipped with a 48 kW motor power, larger saw blade projection, and a cutting length of 6300 mm, this device balances productivity and economy while operating below the performance level of the fk 10, filling the gap between standard models and high-end equipment.

During development, the manufacturer focused on creating a space-saving model while requiring significantly expanded processing capabilities and powerful drive performance, so users do not need to invest in a higher-grade model. With its low structural height, the fk 9 maintains a compact design and delivers high performance, combining speed, stability, and targeted adaptability to special requirements. This saw can process stack heights of up to 150 mm, with a maximum panel width of 3200 mm. The combination of an expanded processing range and high drive power also provides a technical foundation for demanding applications. In practical use, the fk 9 is said to achieve reliable and efficient cuts when sawing difficult-to-machine materials. After thorough technical coordination, this intermediate solution has proven to be the intersection of its larger and smaller sister models. IMA Schelling states that this concept of balancing compact design, high performance, and economy will become increasingly important in the future.
