ByteDance's New Move! Doubao, Feishu, and Volcano Engine to Undergo Restructuring and Integration

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 30, ByteDance initiated an organizational adjustment targeting its AI business, aiming to enhance product and service collaboration among Doubao, Feishu, and Volcano Engine in enterprise productivity scenarios.

According to the adjustment plan, the Feishu product team and the Doubao product team will be integrated to form a new Doubao product team. On the GTM (Go-to-Market, sales, customer service) front, the Feishu GTM team will merge with the Volcano Engine team to establish a new ToB GTM organization called the "Creativity Service Platform," which will be responsible for the market, sales, and customer service of ByteDance's MaaS and SaaS cloud services.

After the restructuring is completed, while the existing Feishu products and services remain unchanged, Feishu will also engage in deeper product collaboration with Doubao in productivity scenarios.

It is reported that the Doubao Enterprise Edition, developed with deep involvement from the Feishu product team, has already begun internal testing among some Feishu customers. Additionally, the Doubao Enterprise Edition is equipped with comprehensive enterprise-level data isolation, permission management, and security auditing capabilities.

On the enterprise service front, the newly established Creativity Service Platform department will integrate ByteDance's ToB business customer service capabilities to better meet the AI needs of enterprise clients.

As of June this year, the daily average Token usage of the Doubao large model exceeded 180 trillion, Volcano Engine holds a significant share in the public cloud MaaS market, and Feishu's commercial growth has also accelerated notably. It is understood that, based on the average consumption in July, ByteDance's large model business ARR (Annualized Recurring Revenue) reached $4 billion.
