en.Wedoany.com Reported - Gioseppo has deployed Mecalux's new Easy WMS warehouse management system at its two warehouse facilities in Elche, Spain, to centralize omnichannel order processing. The two facilities are equipped with a self-supporting automated high-bay warehouse capable of holding 5,844 pallets and picking racks that can store 480,000 boxes, together managing 1.6 million footwear products.

To achieve omnichannel logistics, companies need to synchronize picking tasks in the warehouse in an orderly and error-free manner. The deployment of the new Easy WMS was completed without interrupting operations, with the primary goal of addressing the growing demand for omnichannel orders.

Mecalux stated in a press release that the software, deployed on updated infrastructure, prevents "technological obsolescence" and provides "maximum security and availability," enabling Gioseppo to serve customers through any sales channel.

Gioseppo began as a family-owned footwear company in Spain and now operates in over 80 countries. Although multi-brand shoe stores remain its primary sales channel, its distribution network has expanded to include directly operated stores, hypermarket spaces, and franchise locations in Spain.
