China Construction First Group Wins Bid for Indonesia JKT-02 Data Center Power Module Project

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 27, China Construction First Group Construction & Development Co., Ltd. announced that it had won the bid for the JKT-02 Data Center Power Module Project in Jakarta, Indonesia. The company will be responsible for the supply, on-site installation, system commissioning, and maintenance services of 116 sets of PTU equipment.

JKT-02 is developed by the data center business under DAMAC Group and is the group's second data center built in Indonesia. The project has a planned total capacity of 144 megawatts, with an estimated investment of USD 2.3 billion. It will be equipped with high-density AI racks and targets a power usage effectiveness of 1.32. The land for the project was acquired in March 2025, and the first phase of facilities is scheduled to begin service in December 2026.

China Construction First Group previously participated in DAMAC Group's JKT-01 data center project in Jakarta. Located in the MT Haryono area, JKT-01 involves a total investment of USD 150 million, with a planned power supply capacity of 19.2 megawatts. It includes the construction of a six-story data center with a building area of 15,080 square meters, housing three data halls, each approximately 760 square meters in area.

Construction of JKT-01 commenced in August 2025, with the main structure topped out in the first quarter of 2026. The first phase of facilities is planned to begin operations in the third quarter of 2026. Following the award of the JKT-02 power module project, China Construction First Group's scope of work will cover the supply, installation, commissioning, and subsequent maintenance of PTU equipment.
