UAE's Air Arabia to Increase Sharjah–Bangkok Flights to 4 Daily from October 25

With the additional capacity in place, Air Arabia's total weekly non-stop flights from Sharjah to Thailand will reach 49, including 21 weekly flights on the Phuket route. Air Arabia stated that the frequency increase is driven by strong travel demand between the UAE and Thailand, offering passengers greater flexibility in scheduling and further enhancing connectivity between Sharjah and Southeast Asia.

Xiamen Air has launched a non-stop route between Xiamen and London Heathrow, marking the first passenger air route from Fujian Province to the United Kingdom. The route operates three times weekly, departing from Xiamen every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, using Boeing 787 aircraft. Xiamen Air noted that this 12-hour route requires no connections, providing convenience for business, study, and family visits between Fujian and the UK, while further enhancing the airline's intercontinental route network.

LATAM Airlines Colombia plans to expand its capacity in Medellín by the end of 2026. By then, monthly seats departing from Medellín will reach 245,554, accounting for 24% of the airline's domestic capacity; available seat kilometers from the city are expected to grow 8% year-on-year. Specific frequency increases include a 64% rise in seats on the Medellín–Barranquilla route, a 63% increase on the Medellín–San Andrés route, and a 10% increase on the Medellín–Bogotá route.

Brazil's Azul Airlines will launch a new domestic non-stop route between Pelotas and São Paulo Campinas on October 26, operating every Monday and Friday, with two weekly flights. Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier Flyadeal has launched a non-stop route between Medina and Karachi, operating two weekly flights, bringing its route network in Pakistan to seven. The new route is operated by Airbus A320neo aircraft, making Medina the third Saudi Arabian destination served by the airline from Karachi, following Jeddah and Riyadh. Flyadeal's Chief Operating Officer, Abdulaziz Bahri, stated that the airline launched only two Pakistan routes last year and has now welcomed its seventh route to Pakistan, with the pace of expansion highlighting the close economic, cultural, and people-to-people ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
