Jaipur Robotics Raises €4.3 Million to Expand AI System for Waste Incineration
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 7, Swiss industrial AI company Jaipur Robotics completed a €4.3 million seed funding round, led by EquityPitcher Ventures and the German High-Tech Startup Fund (HTGF). The company plans to use the funds to expand the deployment of its AI system for waste-to-energy plants, enter new regional markets, and continue expanding software capabilities for industrial facilities such as cement and biomass plants.

The system developed by Jaipur Robotics uses plant cameras to capture images of waste bunkers and discharge areas, employs computer vision to identify hazardous materials, analyze waste composition, and build a distribution map of the lower heating value of waste. The system can also track the position and operating status of waste cranes, providing predictive information for grab bucket material retrieval, mixing, and crane operations. The related technology has already been deployed at multiple waste incineration facilities in Europe and is beginning to expand to other regions.
The company disclosed that its AI system has accumulated more than 50 million annotated images, analyzes over 5 million tons of waste annually, and achieves a 99% recognition accuracy rate for hazardous materials. According to the company's existing project operating data, each facility using the system can reduce unplanned downtime by more than 80% per year; through waste heating value identification and mixing optimization, each facility can generate more than €1 million in additional operational value per year. The above figures are single-facility annual indicators calculated by the company based on existing customer projects.
The platform also extends AI capabilities to waste crane control, providing predictive assistance for crane operations through real-time identification of waste pile positions, composition, and heating value changes, and is used to improve fuel mixing stability before entering the incinerator. The company is currently expanding similar computer vision systems to cement plants and biomass processing facilities.
Jaipur Robotics is headquartered in Manno, Ticino, Switzerland, and was founded in 2024. In March 2025, the company completed a €725,000 Pre-Seed funding round, and subsequently received €161,000 in Venture Kick funding. Following the completion of this €4.3 million funding round, the funds will continue to be used for product development, regional market expansion, and team building.
