China's first "Jinhua Gasifier" with a single-furnace daily coal feed of 3,000 tonnes successfully commissioned

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 13, China's first "Jinhua Gasifier" with a single-furnace daily coal feed of 3,000 tonnes, exclusively manufactured by Shanxi Lu'an Chemical Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd., was successfully commissioned at the Henan Xinlianxin Chemical New Materials Project.

It is reported that the project is equipped with 2 coal-water slurry water-cooled wall gasifiers "Jinhua Gasifier", operating in a one-running-one-standby mode, with a gasification pressure of 6.5 MPa and a total gas volume of 170,000 standard cubic meters per hour (carbon monoxide + hydrogen), achieving efficient gasification conversion based on bituminous coal. As the core equipment of the project, the stable commissioning of the "Jinhua Gasifier" verifies the reliability and advanced nature of domestically produced large-scale coal gasification equipment, and demonstrates Lu'an Chemical Machinery's strength in the field of large-scale coal gasification equipment manufacturing.

The "Jinhua Gasifier" was jointly developed by Lu'an Chemical Machinery and Tsinghua University. It is a coal-water slurry gasification device featuring wide coal adaptability, short maintenance and startup time, and high economic benefits. It is hailed as a "national treasure" of the coal chemical industry and provides a Chinese solution for the green and low-carbon development of the coal chemical industry. Lu'an Chemical Machinery is the only enterprise in China to achieve full coverage of gasification technologies including coal-water slurry, dry pulverized coal, crushed coal, coke powder, biomass, municipal sludge, and water-cooled wall structures replacing traditional refractory bricks.
