Ajman's Al Zorah Plans AED 2.7 Billion Waterfront Complex

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 29, the AED 2.7 billion waterfront mixed-use project in the Al Zorah area of Ajman, UAE, entered the pre-construction preparation stage, with plans for more than 2,000 residential units. Detailed architectural design, environmental permitting, and off-plan sales preparation are currently underway. The project is being developed through a partnership between Al Zorah and Samana Real Estate Development Company, located on a core waterfront plot at Al Zorah Marina 1.

The project is situated on a core waterfront plot at Al Zorah Marina 1, covering 576,908 square feet, facing the yacht marina and adjacent to a mangrove nature reserve. The total planned saleable area is approximately 1.43 million square feet, of which about 65,000 square feet is commercial space. Residential products include apartments, branded residences with hotel services, townhouses, and standalone villas, complemented by commercial facilities.

The project cooperation framework was finalized in January this year. Al Zorah Real Estate Development Company signed a land acquisition agreement with Samana, with Samana participating in project development. Al Zorah Development Company itself was jointly established by the Ajman government and Solidere International, and this project is incorporated into the overall waterfront expansion plan of Al Zorah City.

The project will connect to Al Zorah's existing urban amenities, including the Al Zorah Golf and Yacht Club, a championship golf course, and approximately 10 kilometers of walking and cycling paths, and will be developed based on existing roads, landscaping, and waterfront infrastructure. The Al Zorah area's existing functions also include residential, leisure, sports, tourism facilities, and a nature reserve.

On September 22, Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, received a briefing on Al Zorah's follow-up projects, covering real estate development, infrastructure, and supporting services, and reviewed the aforementioned waterfront mixed-use project and subsequent residential and lifestyle supporting plans.
