Land Use Planning Permit Obtained for China Zhangxue Motorcycle's 500,000-Unit Motorcycle Project

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 29, the construction project for China Chongqing Zhangxue Motorcycle's annual production of 500,000 motorcycles obtained a construction land use planning permit and is expected to break ground within 2026. Located in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, the project plans an investment of approximately RMB 750 million, covers an area of 186.5 mu, and is planned to include factory buildings and supporting facilities of approximately 195,000 square meters. Preparatory work for construction is currently underway.

The new production base plans to purchase approximately 17 sets of equipment for welding, painting, engine assembly, and complete vehicle assembly, and to build complete vehicle production lines, an R&D center, and a testing center, forming a production system covering core component manufacturing, engine production, complete vehicle assembly, and testing. The base also reserves space for the R&D and manufacturing of new energy and intelligent motorcycle models.

The project's planning and design are undertaken by China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) Zhonglian Engineering Co., Ltd., and the two parties held a design contract signing ceremony on July 6. On September 23, the full-chain production base with an annual capacity of 500,000 units officially landed in Chongqing Lianglu Guoyuan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone. With the construction land use planning permit now obtained, the project continues to advance preparations for breaking ground within the year.
