To meet the evolving demands of network experience in the intelligence era, Huawei’s Premium Broadband solution introduced two major upgrades: Customer Experience Index (CEI) and HBBMaster, aimed at creating trillion-level business opportunities for HBB operations. CEI is the industry’s first user experience scoring system, transforming intangible user feedback into measurable, visualized insights. HBBMaster acts as the operational brain, analyzing issues during HBB user experience operations and providing actionable solutions. Together, they enhance subscriber development, experience optimization, and complaint handling.

The solution now offers intelligent identification of potential subscribers. By incorporating six new analysis dimensions—including CEI, Wi-Fi coverage, and home STA—the system improves accuracy in identifying potential FTTR subscribers and upselling opportunities.

Intelligent experience optimization is another key feature. HBBMaster detects poor quality-of-experience (QoE) issues via CEI, diagnoses them automatically, and remotely resolves problems when possible. For issues requiring on-site attention, tasks are automatically dispatched to field engineers, preventing minor issues from escalating into complaints.

Huawei’s intelligent fault diagnosis system further strengthens operations. Drawing on expert experience with over 30 commonly reported fault types worldwide, the system can remotely locate and resolve faults. The solution also includes FMEMate, a troubleshooting assistant providing field engineers with guidance on more than 30 scenarios, boosting operational efficiency and reducing downtime.
