en.Wedoany.com Reported - TechnipFMC announced it has been awarded a "significant" contract by Azule Energy to supply flexible flowlines and risers for the West Hub Tails project offshore Angola. The contract value ranges between $75 million and $250 million and will be booked in TechnipFMC's third-quarter 2026 order intake.

Under the contract, TechnipFMC will be responsible for the design and manufacturing of flexible flowlines, risers, and associated ancillary equipment to gather oil and gas from the West Hub area and transport it to the Agogo FPSO. The West Hub Tails project is an expansion of the Agogo Integrated West Hub (Agogo IWH) development, located in the deepwater Lower Congo Basin on Block 15/06 offshore Angola, approximately 180 kilometers from the coast.

Jonathan Landes, President of Subsea at TechnipFMC, stated that the company has maintained a strong record of safe and on-time execution during the first two phases of the Agogo development, and will continue to deliver reliable solutions for this fast-paced project.

Azule Energy is an Angolan upstream joint venture owned 50/50 by bp and Eni. Its operated Agogo IWH project covers the full-field development of the Agogo and Ndungu fields, with combined reserves of approximately 450 million barrels and a target peak production of around 180,000 barrels per day. The project reached final investment decision in February 2023 and achieved first oil in July 2025, taking only 29 months from FID to startup—a rare example of rapid execution in deepwater projects. Other partners in Block 15/06 include Sonangol E&P (approximately 36.84%) and Sinopec International (approximately 26.32%).
