Wedoany.com Report-Nov. 22, Brazilian soymeal exports in November 2025 are projected to reach 2.68 million metric tons, approximately 200,000 tons above last week’s estimate and sufficient to establish a new monthly record, according to the national grain exporters’ association Anec. The previous high was 2.46 million tons recorded in October 2024.
Principal destinations continue to be markets in Europe and Asia, where Brazilian soymeal is widely used as high-quality animal feed. Compared with November 2024, shipments are expected to increase by more than 950,000 tons.
The surge reflects improved export price competitiveness in Brazil, combined with temporary reductions in U.S. crushing capacity due to scheduled plant maintenance, which supported higher international soymeal prices.
For the January–October 2025 period, Brazil’s cumulative soymeal exports already exceeded 20 million tons, representing a 3.9% year-on-year growth. The strong November performance is anticipated to tighten domestic availability, thereby strengthening crushing margins for local processors.
Despite robust soymeal volumes, soybean exports in November are forecast by Anec at 4.71 million tons, one of the lower monthly totals of the year, as domestic bean stocks decline ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 harvest expected early next year.
Overall, Brazil’s continued high export pace for both soybeans and soymeal underscores sustained global demand for its oilseed products and reinforces the country’s position as the world’s leading supplier of these commodities.
