Wedoany.com Report-Nov. 24, Sungrow, a leading Chinese solar inverter manufacturer with over 870 GW of power electronic converters installed globally, has expanded its presence in Australia through multiple distribution agreements signed at the 2025 All-Energy Australia exhibition in October.
Brisbane-based wholesaler Raystech Group signed a major distribution agreement with Sungrow covering 800 MW of solar inverters for 2026 delivery. This includes 450 MW for residential applications, 150 MW for commercial and industrial projects, and 200 MW for utility-scale installations. Raystech will also distribute 1 GWh of Sungrow battery energy storage systems in 2026, comprising 600 MWh residential, 150 MWh commercial and industrial, and 250 MWh utility-scale capacity.
During the same event, Raystech secured additional partnerships: a three-year 2 GW module distribution agreement with Longi, renewed 150 MW contracts with Longi channel partners Hytech Solar, Solar Agent, and Arise Solar, a cooperation agreement with Rise Energy to strengthen its presence in New Zealand, and a strategic collaboration with CCE Oasis for joint development of large-scale clean energy projects.
Sungrow renewed its strategic distribution agreement with Queensland-based Supply Partners for 2026, covering 300 MW of PV inverters and 300 MWh of residential battery energy storage systems. Supply Partners will continue leading direct distribution across residential, commercial, and storage segments, supporting reliable and future-oriented clean energy solutions nationwide.
Additionally, Sungrow formalised a strategic partnership with Queensland-based online electrical wholesaler Tradezone to deliver solar and storage solutions across Australia.
These agreements reinforce Sungrow’s commitment to the Australian renewable energy market and support the continued growth of solar and energy storage deployment across residential, commercial, and utility-scale sectors. The partnerships combine Sungrow’s advanced inverter and storage technology with strong local distribution networks to meet rising demand for clean energy solutions throughout Australia and neighbouring regions.
