en.Wedoany.com Reported - The first batch of main steel structure columns of the Liaoning Huadian Diaobingshan 450 MW Wind Power-to-Hydrogen Coupled Green Methanol Integrated Demonstration Project have been hoisted. With the assistance of lifting equipment, the columns were lifted to the predetermined base and positioned in one go, marking the project's transition from the civil construction phase to the steel structure installation phase.

This project is a key new energy demonstration project in Liaoning Province, with a total installed capacity of 450 MW. Its technical route is "wind power - electrolytic water hydrogen production - carbon dioxide to methanol synthesis," which utilizes large-scale wind power for local consumption, produces green hydrogen, and then reacts it with captured carbon dioxide to produce green methanol, replacing traditional fossil raw materials and achieving carbon resource recycling. This model holds demonstrative significance for the transformation of the regional energy structure and the realization of the "dual carbon" goals.

For the first hoisting of the steel structure, the supervision team from Beijing Project Management Company, which oversees the project, completed a review of the special construction plan and multiple rounds of expert argumentation before the hoisting. They also conducted safety verification of the lifting equipment and rigging, and implemented safety technical disclosure for all personnel. During the hoisting process, a warning zone was demarcated on site, full-process side station supervision was implemented, and fine control was exercised over the hoisting, positioning, verticality correction, and temporary fixing of the steel columns.

Since the start of construction, facing challenges such as site leveling, rainy season construction, and multi-trade cross-operation, the supervision team has dynamically optimized the frequency of side station patrols, strictly controlled process acceptance, and urged the construction party to complete civil works such as pile foundations, cap pouring, and equipment foundations, creating conditions for steel structure installation.

With the positioning of the first batch of steel columns, the supervision team has strengthened side station supervision and quality acceptance for the installation of core process equipment such as hydrogen production and methanol synthesis. Subsequent control will similarly cover the erection of steel beams, the completion of the support system, and the construction of the plant enclosure structure.

The supervision team stated that it will continue to implement refined control in the next steps to ensure project safety and quality, and promote the completion and commissioning of this low-carbon demonstration project.
