Wedoany.com Report-Nov. 27, Føn Energy Services has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver inspection, repair, and maintenance services for 303 wind turbines across six offshore wind farms in the Dutch North Sea. The contract was announced on 26 November 2025 at the Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference in Amsterdam.

The scope includes Borssele 3&4 (Blauwwind consortium), Borssele 5 (Two Towers), Eneco Luchterduinen, Hollandse Kust Noord (CrossWind), Hollandse Kust West VI (Ecowende), and Prinses Amaliawindpark (Eneco). Services cover above-water Balance of Plant maintenance and below-water ROV inspections, with campaigns starting progressively from 2026 as current contracts expire and new farms reach operational status.

Eneco, acting as operator for the portfolio, combined the six projects into a single tender to achieve greater efficiency through coordinated planning and economies of scale.

Remco Streppel, Eneco's Head of Operations, said: "Bringing the contracts for these assets under one umbrella will allow us to reduce complexity, improve planning, and maximize operational synergies."

Established in 2022 by Akastor ASA and IKM Industrial Group, Føn strengthened its offshore wind capabilities in 2024 through the acquisition and merger with Dutch service provider C-Ventus. The company previously secured a major Balance of Plant contract from Ocean Winds for the Moray East and Moray West wind farms in Scotland.

The new Dutch portfolio contract further consolidates Føn's position as a leading independent provider of operations and maintenance services in the European offshore wind sector.
