Worldwide production rose 4 percent year-on-year to 926,987 units, while global sales grew 2 percent to 922,087 vehicles, extending a positive streak to ten straight months of gains.

In the United States, Toyota's largest market, production jumped 26 percent compared with the same month last year. The sharp rise marked the fifth consecutive double-digit increase, driven by sustained customer interest in hybrid vehicles and a recovery from production suspensions of two models in the previous year.

Domestic Japanese production increased 7 percent. Sales in Japan, however, declined 4 percent, though the company did not specify the factors behind the drop.

In China, production decreased 6 percent and sales fell 7 percent, affected by the conclusion of certain regional subsidy programmes.

For the January-to-October period this year, Toyota's global sales reached 8.7 million vehicles. Hybrid models represented 42 percent of the total, while battery electric vehicles accounted for just under 2 percent.

The reported figures cover both Toyota and its premium Lexus brand.

The results highlight the ongoing contribution of hybrid technology to Toyota's performance across major markets, particularly in North America, where demand remains robust.
