Nine Mile Metals has announced the completion of the third drill hole in the western extension drilling program at the Wedge Copper Project in Canada, aiming to further delineate the scale and distribution of mineralization in the area.
The third drill hole, numbered WD-25-02B, is located approximately 60 meters northwest of the first hole. It was drilled with an azimuth of 325 degrees, a dip of -50 degrees, and reached a final depth of 122 meters. The company stated that this hole has further expanded the mineralization to the west of the target area. The hole intersected significant copper-bearing sulfides associated with contact breccia at a depth of 56.4 meters, with mineralization continuing to the full depth of 122 meters.
Furthermore, recent surface sample assay results received by the company confirm the copper-rich nature of the asset. Some samples returned copper equivalent grades as high as 15.21%, along with associated elements such as silver, gold, zinc, and lead.
