Horgos Port Sees Sustained Growth in Import and Export Cargo Volume in First 11 Months of This Year

Wedoany.com Report-Jan. 2, This year, as a core hub for China's westward opening-up, Horgos Port has maintained a sustained growth trend in its import and export cargo volume. According to statistics from Horgos Customs, the port's actual supervised import and export cargo volume from January to November this year reached 42.443 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.4%. Among this, 396,000 vehicles were exported, marking a 4.6% year-on-year increase.

This year, Horgos Railway Port has implemented the "Smart Railway Port + Local Rapid Customs Clearance" model, while the highway port has adopted models such as "Highway Port + Local Direct Clearance" and "Rapid Customs Clearance for Self-Exported Commercial Vehicles." These measures have enabled 24-hour cargo clearance, significantly improving transit efficiency.
