Meta Acquires AI Agent Developer Butterfly Effect

Headquartered in Singapore, the company primarily provides AI agent products for small and medium-sized enterprises, with its core product named Manus. The artificial intelligence business is currently a key focus area for Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and a core strategic direction for the company. The purpose of acquiring Butterfly Effect is to enrich Meta's AI product portfolio. According to market information, the Manus product adopts a subscription-based pricing model, and its annualized revenue had already reached $125 million by the beginning of this year. This business model helps Meta achieve faster commercial returns on some of its AI investments.
