Wedoany.com, Recently, the load tests for two 550-ton bridge cranes in the main powerhouse of the Caculo Cabaça Hydropower Station in Angola, constructed by China Energy Engineering Group Gezhouba, were successfully completed, with all inspection indicators meeting the standards.

Relevant information shows that the Caculo Cabaça Hydropower Station is located in Dondo City, North Kwanza Province, Angola, in the middle section of the Kwanza River. It is currently the largest energy project undertaken by a Chinese company in Angola and is hailed as the "Three Gorges Project of Africa." The project is located 270 kilometers from the capital, Luanda, and is the third stage of the eight-level hydropower stations in the river basin. The total installed capacity of the power station is 2,172 megawatts. Upon completion, the project is expected to generate an average annual electricity output of 8,566 gigawatt-hours and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 7.2 million tons per year.
