The inspection team first visited Terminal T5 of Xi'an Airport, where they conducted on-site inspections of the organization of Spring Festival travel operations, check-in services, and support for special passengers. They listened to the airport's report on flight capacity deployment, staffing arrangements, and festive atmosphere creation for the Spring Festival period. They also gained a detailed understanding of the implementation of measures such as security checks, dangerous goods transportation, and the control of "oversized, overweight, and over-numbered" luggage. Subsequently, the team proceeded to the apron in the northern area of Terminal T5, as well as the northern and southern second runways in the airfield area. They conducted on-site inspections of apron operations, foreign object debris (FOD) prevention, and bird strike prevention measures, focusing on recent apron operational conditions and airfield management in the runway areas. The inspection team required the airport to effectively manage runway surface airworthiness. In response to recent tire damage incidents, they emphasized strengthening daily inspections and problem analysis, implementing targeted measures to prevent unsafe events, and continuously improving bird strike prevention work based on annual assessment results. Finally, the team visited the airport's logistics company to inspect cargo support, reminding them to prepare for peak logistics periods and ensure the safety and smooth flow of logistics channels.

During the inspection, Deputy Director Shi Lin emphasized that ensuring successful Spring Festival travel support is a key task for civil aviation at the start of the year and holds significant social importance. He put forward four requirements: First, attach high importance to the task, ensuring that mindset, focus, and work implementation are in place. Second, implement safety responsibilities and strengthen the management and control of operational risks under extreme weather conditions. Third, enhance operational efficiency and service levels, optimize processes, and effectively handle flight delay emergencies. Fourth, strengthen duty arrangements, provide care for employees, and conduct effective publicity and guidance to foster a positive working atmosphere.
