Application Scope
The TH-ZX300 automatic total phosphorus water quality analyzer is a device independently developed by our company for measuring total phosphorus concentration in water. It is suitable for online and offline detection of surface water, pollution source water quality, industrial and municipal wastewater, and sewage.
Instrument Principle
Potassium persulfate digestion of the water sample oxidizes all phosphorus-containing compounds in the sample to orthophosphate. In acidic medium, orthophosphate reacts with ammonium molybdate to form phosphomolybdic heteropoly acid in the presence of antimony salt, which is then reduced by ascorbic acid to form a blue complex. The absorbance is measured by non-dispersive photometry, and the total phosphorus concentration is calculated by comparison with the standard curve.
