New Holland Construction recently expanded its electric equipment lineup with the launch of the E25X electric compact excavator and the C314X electric compact track loader. These two machines are designed to meet contractors' needs for zero on-site emissions, low noise, and reduced maintenance, offering new solutions for job site operations.

"Contractors urgently need machines that can improve work efficiency, and electric equipment precisely provides this flexibility," said Jack Sickles, North American Product Marketing Manager for New Holland Construction. "The design of the E25X and C314X excavators takes into account customers' existing workflows comprehensively, requiring no major adjustments from them. They successfully eliminate the limitations imposed by emissions and noise, allowing contractors to smoothly take on a wider variety of projects."

In environmentally constrained spaces, such as retail construction, pipeline installation, and interior demolition work, the E25X and C314X excavators demonstrate significant application value and even help contractors develop entirely new business opportunities. Taking a retail store installing a refrigeration system as an example, traditional diesel equipment cannot operate during business hours due to ventilation issues, whereas these two excavators can work quietly during the day without affecting customers' shopping experience at all.

The advantages of the excavators are not only reflected in improved air quality; the significant reduction in noise pollution also makes them the ideal choice for operations near schools, municipal facilities, livestock farms, and residential areas. Maintenance work near playgrounds can be carried out smoothly without disrupting teaching schedules, and emergency water pipe repairs in urban communities can be completed quietly at night without disturbing residents' rest.

The E25X electric compact excavator is equipped with a 102-volt lithium-ion battery with a total capacity of 32.2 kWh. It features an on-board charging system that can fully charge the battery in nine hours, providing a runtime of four to eight hours. Its maximum digging depth reaches 8 feet, making it suitable for various tasks such as foundation work, utility installation, and outdoor pipeline demolition. Electro-hydraulic controls, multiple operating modes, and adjustable response settings ensure precise and efficient operation.

The C314X electric compact track loader also uses a 102-volt lithium-ion battery with a total capacity of 23.5 kWh and a charging time of approximately eight hours. It features a narrow-width track configuration, with options for standard rubber or non-marking tracks to meet the operational needs of different environments. Enhanced LED lighting, a single auxiliary hydraulic system, and a 14-pin electrical connection further improve operational flexibility and safety.
