en.Wedoany.com Reported - UK aerial work platform rental company AFI Rentals has ordered four CTE ZED 21.3 JHV articulated truck-mounted aerial work platforms, with a maximum working height of 21 meters.

These units are mounted on a 3.5-tonne Iveco chassis and feature twin Sigma-type lifting columns, topped by a two-section telescopic boom and an articulated jib. With a 100 kg load in the 1.4 m × 700 mm work basket, the maximum horizontal reach is 10 meters; with the platform's maximum load of 300 kg, the maximum working height is 21 meters.

James Bunting, General Manager of CTE UK, expressed his gratitude to Pete Wajner for considering CTE UK to help expand AFI's rental fleet. He stated that the delivery window was very tight, but his staff delivered the equipment in record time. He also mentioned that the Z21.3 series is one of CTE's most well-known models and has been popular with rental companies and end users since its launch; while a perfect machine may not exist, this unit is suitable for most applications.

Peter Wajner, Managing Director of AFI's specialist rental business, added that Jamie Kirsopp and Matthew Dean have already collected two of the four new units this week. These four units will go directly into AFI's Wilson division to support the growth of that business.

AFI is headquartered in Wakefield, Yorkshire, with 20 locations across the UK and 6 in the Middle East, and a total rental fleet of 6,000 units. The company states that 70% of its UK fleet is currently electric or hybrid; AFI is also an IPAF training provider.
