Wedoany.com Report on Mar 2nd, Recently, the main structure of the Jiazi Tian Railway Bridge on the Wengma Railway, constructed by China Railway Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd., was successfully completed. This railway bridge is one of the key nodes along the entire Wengma Railway line, and the completion of its main structure has laid a solid foundation for subsequent construction. The Wengma Railway is located in the central and eastern part of Guizhou Province, connecting Zunyi City and the Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. It is being constructed according to national Class II, single-track, and 120 km/h design standards.

The completion of the main structure of the Jiazi Tian Railway Bridge marks a new phase in the construction of the Wengma Railway. The north-south extension line of the Wengma Railway is approximately 148 kilometers long, with a high bridge-tunnel ratio and complex construction conditions. During the construction process, the project team employed technological innovations to address topographical challenges. Previously, the Wujiang Grand Bridge, a controlling project for the entire line, achieved "millimeter-level" closure of its steel pipe arch in 2025 and is currently in the stage of installing steel-concrete composite girders.
The entire Wengma Railway line is expected to be completed and operational by the end of 2026. Upon completion, it will connect with three national trunk railways: the Sichuan-Guizhou, Shanghai-Kunming, and Guizhou-Guangxi lines, further improving the layout of the regional railway network in Guizhou Province. It will become an important channel for the collection and transportation of various goods in Qiannan Prefecture, such as phosphate ore, silica, and coal. As a crucial auxiliary corridor for the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, this railway will enhance logistics distribution efficiency in northern Guizhou, reduce transportation costs for enterprises along the route, and contribute to the high-quality coordinated development of the regional economy.
