Wedoany.com Report on Mar 11th, Doosan Robotics announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with global automotive parts manufacturer Gwangjin Group to supply over 100 manufacturing robot solutions, advancing the automation of automotive parts production.

According to the memorandum of understanding, Doosan Robotics will sequentially provide manufacturing robot solutions to Gwangjin Group's factories in South Korea, the United States, Mexico, India, and Vietnam by 2027. Gwangjin Group, specializing in automotive parts, has already applied these solutions to the riveting, assembly, and inspection processes of window regulator and door module production lines, achieving a product defect rate reduction to zero, which led to large-scale follow-up orders.

Doosan Robotics' manufacturing robot solutions require no modifications to existing factory layouts, offering high safety and precision, supporting human-robot collaboration, reducing quality fluctuations caused by operator skill differences, and improving production efficiency and stability. Both parties plan to establish a joint working group to co-develop customized robot solutions, optimize production environments, and extend cooperation to more parts manufacturing processes.

Doosan Robotics CEO Park In-Won stated, "This agreement demonstrates trust in our robot solutions, especially after achieving a zero-defect rate, which directly contributed to the expanded partnership. We will ensure the successful deployment of the solutions in Gwangjin Group's production facilities and strengthen our position in the global automation market through collaboration." Doosan Robotics is expanding its portfolio of AI robot solutions, accelerating R&D to lead manufacturing innovation.
