en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 24th, IONNA, the charging alliance, recently released data showing its electric vehicle charging network in the United States now has nearly 1,000 charging stalls, distributed across over 100 operational sites. This expansion comes during a phase of rapid development for EV charging infrastructure.
IONNA stated, "Over 4,700 charging stalls have been contracted nationwide, with nearly 1,500 currently under construction or already completed." The alliance plans to enhance urban and long-distance electric vehicle travel by 2030 through more than 30,000 ultra-fast and reliable charging points.
Funded collectively by BMW, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Kia, Stellantis, and Toyota, IONNA differs from other charging networks by offering charging centers with well-designed amenities. Each site is equipped with fast or ultra-fast chargers, many feature canopies for weather protection, and some provide drive-through charging stalls to optimize the user charging experience.
As the IONNA charging network continues to expand, its goal is to deploy 30,000 public charging points by 2030. This will significantly boost the development of EV charging infrastructure in the US, providing more convenient charging services for electric vehicle users.
