The Minister noted that the project, completed by the Ministry of Water Resources, will be handed over to the city corporation within two weeks.

He added that a proposal to construct an additional 30 kilometers of drainage infrastructure in the area has been brought to the Prime Minister's attention. He expressed optimism about the future, believing that through the management of the city corporation and joint efforts from all parties, the desired results can be achieved.

State Minister for Water Resources Fuad Hossain Azad, State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Mir Shah Alam, Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Abdus Salam, and Chairman of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) Engineer Md. Riazul Islam attended the meeting.
