The newly launched Kunlun-Pro and Andes-Pro radar SoCs are primarily targeting the high-performance ADAS radar market and related regulatory requirements. With Euro NCAP 2026 raising automotive active safety standards and China advancing the draft phase of national L2 ADAS and AEB regulations, ADAS radars need to provide all-condition, all-speed-range perception capabilities for all road users.

Kunlun-Pro is an automotive-grade 5T4R millimeter-wave radar SoC featuring a 10x performance improvement in RSP 2.0, higher CPU DMIPS performance, larger memory, over 2.5 dB improvement in signal-to-noise ratio, and a 25% increase in virtual channels compared to existing 4T4R products on the market. In demanding test scenarios, Kunlun-Pro can reliably track weak targets at distances far exceeding those of 4T4R solutions. Andes-Pro adopts the world's first 6T6R ADAS radar SoC, achieving a 200-meter detection range for weak targets and exceptional angular resolution of 1° in azimuth and 3° in elevation. As a cost-effective alternative to expensive 8T8R products, this chip can be cascaded into a 12T12R imaging radar system, delivering high performance at a lower system cost.

In addition to millimeter-wave radar chips, Calterah has also explored UWB radar functions and applications. The company achieved the world's first IEEE 802.15.4ab Sensing in its Dubhe CAL1106AQ SoC and launched two solutions—a Child Presence Detection (CPD) development kit and a Parking Assist System (PAS) development kit. Both kits are based on the CAL1106AQ, the world's first 2T4R UWB SoC compliant with the IEEE 802.15.4ab standard and certified with FiRa 4.0. Leveraging the 2T4R architecture, Radar Leakage Suppression (RLS) module, and IEEE 802.15.4ab Sensing features, the CAL1106AQ can accurately measure height, detect nearby stationary objects, and perform high-speed parking lot searches.

As of the first quarter of 2026, Calterah has shipped over 30 million millimeter-wave chips, powering vehicles from more than 30 OEMs. Dr. Jiashu CHEN, founder and CEO of Calterah, mentioned that combining millimeter-wave and UWB technologies enables a seamless, secure, and intelligent driving experience—from vehicle positioning and unlocking to assisted driving, automatic parking, locking, Child Presence Detection (CPD), and intrusion alerts.
