en.Wedoany.com Reported - Gulfstream showcased the flight-test-phase G400 in Europe and unveiled the full-scale model of the G300 for the first time.

The Savannah-based manufacturer hosted a customer event on June 8 at its UK maintenance center at Farnborough airport, displaying its latest models alongside the in-service G800, G700, and G500.

Europe is a key market for two of the smaller aircraft in Gulfstream's portfolio. Most regional missions fall within the range of both: the G400 has a range of 4,200 nautical miles (7,778 km), while the G300 covers 3,600 nautical miles.

The G400 on display is one of three flight-test prototypes and the first production aircraft. Gulfstream announced the model, along with the 8,200-nautical-mile G800, in 2021. The G400 first flew in August 2024, and certification, originally planned for last year, is still ongoing. The model shares its cross-section, cockpit, type rating, and a derivative of the Pratt & Whitney PW800 engine with the G500 and G600. Gulfstream said the aircraft set a new city-pair speed record on its flight to Farnborough: departing Washington, D.C., it completed the journey in 6 hours and 12 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.87, using sustainable aviation fuel.

Gulfstream announced in September 2025 that the G300 would replace its super-midsize G280, and test flights began in December of that year. Like its predecessor, the G300 is built by Israel Aerospace Industries in Tel Aviv and is powered by two Honeywell HTF7250G turbofan engines. It is worth noting that Gulfstream produced another G300 in the early 2000s, a short-lived variant of the GIV that was discontinued after two years. Changes from the G280 include the introduction of the manufacturer's signature oval windows and the Harmony cockpit, also built by Honeywell. However, pilots use a standard control yoke rather than the BAE Systems active control sidesticks found on other Gulfstream models.

"Demand for Gulfstream's next-generation aircraft continues to accelerate in Europe," said Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream. "The G300 and G400 offer unmatched performance, efficiency, and cabin innovations that are ideally suited for operators in the region."
