en.Wedoany.com Reported - Terra Metals (ASX:TM1) has released the first assay results from three drill holes completed in 2026 at the Southwest Zone, confirming multiple high-grade massive and semi-massive platinum group metals (PGM)-copper-nickel-cobalt mineralized intervals.
The drilling program aimed to verify the extent of mineralization identified during early 2026 drilling. Company CEO and Managing Director Thomas Line stated that the results confirm extensive shallow sulfide mineralization across multiple high-grade zones.
Line noted that the first two diamond drill holes of the quarter both intersected extensive sulfide mineralization with distinctive high-grade PGM grades, with hole SWDD011 returning 150 meters of PGM-copper-nickel sulfide mineralization in multiple stacked horizons. SWDD009 and SWDD011 also recorded the highest nickel, copper, and cobalt sulfide grades ever seen in the project to date.
The first reverse circulation pre-collar hole SWRD051 showed high-grade PGM sulfides, with mineralization extending to the end of the assayed interval. Assay results from the diamond tail of this hole, which extends deeper into the sulfide system, are still pending.
Diamond drill hole SWDD011, the first diamond hole in the northern SW6 discovery zone, returned results including: from 200 meters, 100 meters at 1.06 g/t platinum, palladium, and gold (PGE3), with 0.11% copper, 0.19% nickel, and 169 ppm cobalt; including from 281.7 meters, 16.3 meters at 2.56 g/t PGE3, with 0.25% copper, 0.36% nickel, and 285 ppm cobalt; and from 284.7 meters, 1.1 meters at 8.76 g/t PGE3, with 0.26% copper, 1.54% nickel, and 1068 ppm cobalt. Additionally, from 313.7 meters, 24.3 meters at 0.52 g/t PGE3.
Diamond drill hole SWDD009, the first diamond hole in the southern SW5 discovery zone, returned results including: from 49 meters, 39.5 meters at 0.70 g/t PGE3, with 0.12% copper; including from 65.2 meters, 3.8 meters at 3.12 g/t PGE3, with 0.20% copper, 0.23% nickel, and 206 ppm cobalt; and from 68.4 meters, 0.6 meters at 17.11 g/t PGE3.
The first reverse circulation hole SWRD051, located between the northern SW6 and southern SW5 discovery zones, returned results including: from 102 meters, 11 meters at 1.32 g/t PGE3, with 0.15% copper, 0.17% nickel; including from 102 meters, 3 meters at 4.04 g/t PGE3, with 0.42% copper, 0.56% nickel; and from 153 meters to the end of the assayed interval, 7 meters at 0.84 g/t PGE3, with 0.11% copper, 0.13% nickel.
The company noted that hole SWRD051 remains open at depth, with 436.5 meters of diamond drilling assay results still pending.
Terra stated that the platinum, palladium, gold, rhodium, ruthenium, osmium, and iridium (PGE7) assay results from 2025 drilling represent a significant advancement for the Dante project, as these results more comprehensively reflect the multi-metal nature of the Southwest sulfide system.
The company is currently focusing on additional diamond and reverse circulation drilling to expand mineralization and test other targets, while integrating key datasets into 3D geological and mineralization models, and testing interpreted channel zones and extensions. The company will continue its PGE7 assay program to assess the broader multi-metal value of the Dante system.
Terra Metals is focused on the Dante project, which hosts a large mineralized system containing copper, gold, platinum group elements, vanadium, and titanium.
