Through the new project, Elflein is investing in the development of sustainable transport infrastructure. Plans include truck parking spaces equipped with powerful charging infrastructure, as well as office and rest buildings for employees and drivers.

Elflein Managing Partner Rüdiger Elflein stated that with the construction of the zero-emission transport unit, the company's first transport hub fully dedicated to electric mobility is taking shape. He expressed hope to demonstrate to the public that sustainable logistics is achievable in the heavy transport sector and that a step forward can be made through innovation.

The new site will combine efficient processes, modern infrastructure, and a clear focus on the needs of electric mobility in heavy transport. In the long term, the installation of photovoltaic systems is also planned to support the energy supply for the charging infrastructure.

In addition to technical infrastructure, working conditions are also a key focus. Alongside office workstations, social and rest areas designed to meet the daily needs of drivers will be built.

The project is being implemented in collaboration with long-term partner Matthias Kienbaum GmbH, with whom the Elflein Group has completed several construction projects.
