en.Wedoany.com Reported - AI-driven fleet safety provider Netradyne India is in discussions with multiple commercial vehicle manufacturers to expand the deployment of its road safety technology in India.

Durgadutt Nedungadi, Senior Vice President at Netradyne, told ETAuto that the company is in talks with at least three of the four largest internal combustion engine OEMs in India. The automotive technology provider has already signed agreements with three electric vehicle OEMs in the commercial vehicle segment. Currently, Netradyne focuses on the commercial fleet sector, which offers a market opportunity of nearly 3 million vehicles in the organized segment. With growing demand for its technology, the passenger vehicle segment will soon be included in its business scope.
The US-based company, whose investors include Reliance Industries and SoftBank, provides AI-driven technology and video telematics for fleet management to reduce road accidents. Netradyne operates across North America, Europe, and Asia. The company expects India to become one of its fastest-growing markets, as fleet operators show strong interest in its technology. The San Diego-based company currently has nearly 30,000 vehicles equipped with its technology deployed in India and expects to add another 30,000 vehicles this year.
The decade-old company anticipates its India business will more than double, while globally, it targets growth of approximately 35% to 40% this year. Nedungadi added that in India, the company aims to achieve over 100% year-on-year revenue growth. The company recorded revenue of approximately INR 293 crore in fiscal year 2025, a 29% increase year-on-year, compared to INR 227.97 crore in the previous fiscal year.
Nedungadi stated that the company plans to expand its platform by integrating new technologies, such as weather-based safety systems that automatically suggest reducing speed limits under uncertain climate conditions like heavy rain, fog, or snow. Additionally, Netradyne plans to advance its predictive driver fatigue detection system, which can identify drowsiness before a driver falls asleep.
According to data reported by clients, fleet operators have reduced accident rates by up to 50% through its technology. Nedungadi said, "Customers tell us their accident rates have dropped by 50%. We also see a reduction of 80-85% in alert rates, and distracted driving incidents have decreased by up to 95%."
