India's HCLTech Q4 Profit Rises 4.2% to Rs 44.88 Billion

en.Wedoany.com Reported - IT giant HCL Technologies (HCLTech) reported a 4.20% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter (January to March) of the 2025-26 fiscal year, reaching Rs 44.88 billion, driven primarily by the strong performance of its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered services business.

In the same period of the previous fiscal year (Q4 of 2024-25), the company's consolidated net profit stood at Rs 43.07 billion. Operating revenue for the fourth quarter grew 12.34% year-on-year, from Rs 302.46 billion to Rs 339.81 billion. Sequentially, profit and revenue increased by 10.10% and 0.32%, respectively.

For the full fiscal year 2025-26, HCLTech's net profit was Rs 166.42 billion, down 4.30% from Rs 173.9 billion in fiscal 2024-25; annual revenue was Rs 1,301.44 billion, up 11.18% year-on-year.

HCLTech CEO and Managing Director C Vijayakumar described the fiscal year as one marked by an uncertain demand environment. He stated that some business weakness, reduced discretionary spending, and decision-making delays in the quarter led to results falling short of expectations. The company's newly launched AI-driven service offerings are gaining market traction, with annualized Advanced AI revenue exceeding $620 million in the fourth quarter. For the 2026-27 fiscal year, the top priority is ensuring the company is correctly positioned to seize AI opportunities. He also revealed that the company's Advanced AI revenue reached $155 million in the fourth quarter.

On Tuesday, HCLTech shares closed at Rs 1,441.55 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), up 0.92%. The financial results were announced after market close.
