AFRY Signs SEK 2 Billion Grid Consulting Agreement with Sweden's Ellevio

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Engineering consulting group AFRY has recently entered into a framework agreement with Swedish distribution company Ellevio AB to provide comprehensive technical consulting services for the development, operation, and maintenance of its power grid.

The scope of services under this framework agreement covers local and regional grid consulting, documentation services, inspections, forestry and land rights, as well as operations and maintenance. Specific tasks under the agreement will be assigned in batches through a continuous competitive bidding process. The agreement takes effect on April 1, 2026, with a validity period of four years and an optional extension of 2+2 years. The estimated total value of this framework agreement across all suppliers is up to SEK 2 billion. AFRY has been qualified for task procurement in all capability areas but is not guaranteed any specific transaction volume, with final revenue depending on actual tasks assigned.
