en.Wedoany.com Reported - Tyron Runflat unveiled its new 20x10 carbon composite wheel hub at Eurosatory 2026, receiving inquiries from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) on the first day of the exhibition.
Held in Paris, this was the largest edition of the event, featuring over 2,000 exhibitors from 61 countries. The wheel hub manufacturer attracted significant attention from the defense industry at the exhibition. Tyron Runflat's carbon composite wheel hub can reduce vehicle weight by up to 500 kilograms compared to traditional steel wheel hubs.
The exhibition takes place against an industry backdrop of political pressure, global turmoil, budget delays, and investment constraints. Tyron Runflat Director Peter Simson stated that the company has been exhibiting for over 20 years and deliberately chose Eurosatory as the platform for its new product launch. The event brings together the most influential figures in the defense industry, and several major OEMs have already expressed strong interest, indicating that the company's investments to date have been worthwhile. Simson noted that the defense industry is at a critical juncture, with funding still tight, geopolitical instability widespread, and modern warfare being shaped by a series of innovations and technological demands, highlighting the urgency of product investment and manufacturing expertise.
Tyron Runflat's Business Development Director Mohamed Elnady and Director Dr. Stuart Turner also attended the exhibition. Simson said that Eurosatory provided the team with an opportunity to meet with some key suppliers.
The company has been collaborating with the defense sector for over 30 years, focusing on tire safety solutions. Simson added that changing demands in dangerous combat zones are driving significant innovation in the defense industry. The company will continue to protect soldier safety and ensure vehicle mobility in combat zones.
